PENDLE residents are invited to celebrate Christmas light switch-ons across the borough.
The Mayor of Pendle Coun Allan Buck will arrive in a motorbike sidecar which will be driven by a special guest tomorrow afternoon.
The mayor will switch on lights in Brierfield, outside the Town Hall, at 4.30pm, outside Abbey National in Nelson at 4.50pm and at Gisburn Road, Barrowford at 5.10pm.
He will then be at the town hall in Colne at 5.30pm, Victoria Road Post Office in Earby at 6.10pm and Barnoldswick Market Square at 6.30pm.
Coun Buck said: "I'd like everyone to come and join me in the festive light switch on to get your Christmas off to the perfect start.
I'd like to thank Stuart Gaunt for very kindly providing the bike for us.
We have significantly increased the money spent on festive lights throughout Pendle this year."
