POLICE officers called to a disturbance in Stansfeld Street had to call in reinforcements after being confronted by a man going "berserk".
Blackburn magistrates heard that Nicky Qui Prescott was trying to kick in the front door of a house and when police arrived took up a stance like a boxer.
And one of several females who had been trying to calm Prescott told the officers he had not taken his medication.
Prescott, 33, of Stansfeld Street, was convicted in his absence of using racially aggravated threatening behaviour.
He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
