A COMMUNITY centre has been given a makeover by volunteers.
The Ghausia Centre in Abel Street, Burnley, was spruced up by a team led by Steve Moore and Ammad Akram of Bovis Lend Lease, who are working on the Building Schools for the Future project.
Steve also persuaded four other subcontract-ors working with Bovis Lend Lease to provide men and materials.
He said: "Every year volunteers from Lend Lease businesses give a day of their time to help good causes. We work close to the Ghausia Centre so we can see the benefits our building skills and hard work have given people."
