Residents are being encouraged to support a bid to bring a major investment to the area.
A disused railway between Rosegrove, Burnley, and Padiham could be trans-formed into parkland and a foot and bicycle link if a national television vote goes in its favour.
The programme, which is called "The People's 50 Million", will see four projects from all over the country battling it out to win their share of jackpot.
Transport charity Sustrans, under the Connect2 banner, is behind the bid.
