A MAN has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with violent disorder and wounding after an incident in a shop in Hereford Road.
Nasser Malik Khan, of St James Road, was sent to Preston Crown Court. Magistrates heard that one man had already been sent on the same charges and the police are still looking for three others in connection with the incident on November 5 during which baseball bats were allegedly used as weapons.
Isla Chilton, prose-cuting, lodged notice of appeal against granting of bail and Khan will be held in custody until the appeal is heard by a judge at Crown Court.
