RIBBLE Valley MP Nigel Evans has spoken of his outrage after it was confirmed farmers will have to pay an extra £40million to deal with outbreaks of animal diseases.
Mr Evans spoke at Westminster when it was announced that the sum of £40million to the Government would offset the costs of dealing with recent, or future, outbreaks of diseases such as foot and mouth and bird flu.
Mr Evans said: "This is simply unbelievable."
