TRAFFIC was delayed yesterday after a pick up truck and a van crashed in Colne.
The incident took place 10.10am at the junction of Langroyd Road and Skipton Road.
A lamppost was also damaged during the incident.
PC Nigel Keates said one of the drivers was cut out one of the vehicles before the road was reopened at 11.20am.
PC Keates said both drivers, who were men, suffered minor injuries.
The fire service and paramedics were also called to the scene.
PC Nigel Keates said: "Fortunately no one suffered any serious injuries this time.
"We would like to reassure motorists roads are blocked off because life-saving work is taking place.
"It is difficult when a busy road is blocked off but they have to be in order to give the paramedics or fire service the best chance of doing their job.
"We appreciate it causes delays and inconvenience but if drivers could follow instructions it is in everyone's best interest."
