A TOWN centre pub will be closed for two weeks while it undergoes a refurbishment.
The Bridgewater pub in Darwen town centre has now closed and will undergo a major renovation.
Bosses at the Church Street bar, which closed today for the refurb, have said they will be 'glamming' up the premises.
A spokesman said: "Let the refurb commence.
"The Bridgewater is now in the capable hands of builders and designers to bring you a nice new venue.
"Keep your eyes peeled as we’re still working behind the scenes for the relaunch."
It is scheduled to reopen on October 1.
