MASTERCHEF finalist Moonira Hinglotwala spent a 'surreal' evening cooking for more than 50 people at Lancashire's top restaurant.
The Blackburn pharmacist, who reached the finals week of BBC’s Masterchef in April, was a special guest chef at Langho’s Michelin-starred Northcote.
Moonira cooked five courses at the sellout event, including several traditional Indian cuisines the mum-of-two had cooked on Masterchef, such as her Indian scotch eggs.
She said: “It was an amazing experience and a bit surreal.
“Some people said it was the best Indian fine-dining cuisine they had ever tasted. I was blown away.”
The 39-year-old was invited by head chef at Northcote Lisa Goodwin-Allen after they met at an event at Ewood Park on April 20, which celebrated unique women in business.
Moonira described Lisa, who won BBC Two's Great British Menu in 2010, as an inspiration.
She will return to Northcote on October 17 and 18 to host cookery school days, where students will learn how to cook a selection of snacks and a three-course meal.
