THE Who’s classic album Quadrophenia will be performed live at a special concert at King George’s Hall, Blackburn, next year.

Eight-piece outfit The Goldhawks will be recreate the full, authentic sound of one of the world’s great rock bands for the show which will also feature archive footage of both the Who and the halcyon days of Mod movement.

The Goldhawks are fronted by Doug Freeman who both sound and looks uncannily like Who frontman Roger Daltry.

Released in 1973, Quadrophenia was the Who’s second rock opera charting the story of a young Mod growing up in the Sixties.
