Blackburn Road in Edgeworth
A CAR had caught fire in Edgworth.
Firefighters from Darwen were called to Blackburn Road at around 1pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "The car was well alight on the roadway by the time crews arrived.
"They used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were at the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
"There were no casualties."
