COUNCILLORS will decide whether to accept a multi-million pound grant offer for infrastructure works in a town.
The Lancashire Economic Partnership (LEP) has awarded a £4.9million grant to fund two major infrastructure schemes in Padiham.
The funds would support the creation of flood defences and enable the development of 240 homes on the former Baxi site.
Executives at Burnley Council had previously backed the proposed funding and elected members will decide whether to accept the grant during full council tomorrow from 6.30pm at Burnley Town Hall.
If approved, officers will complete the legal agreements necessary to implement the scheme.
