CELEBRITY chef James Martin wowed shoppers as he brought his film crew to East Lancs.
The TV cook popped in to see Lisa Goodwin-Allen, executive head chef at Northcote, in Langho, before heading to Clitheroe where he visited Holmes Mill.
Heidi Kettle, group marketing manager at James’ Places, which operates Holmes Mill, said: “He spent most of the day with us and lots of customers were snapping away taking selfies with him and chatting to him.
“We posted it on Facebook and there were lots of people who came along to see him and it was a lovely surprise for the customers who were already here.
“He said he was amazed by the quality of the produce we have in Lancashire and was very complimentary about the food we had available.
“We set up a little cooking station in the beer hall and did a cookery demonstration and he did a little bit of cooking outside with Lisa from Northcote.
“It was such a pleasure to have him here.”
A spokesman for Northcote added: "We were delighted to welcome James Martin who was at Northcote yesterday with a film crew to meet our executive chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen."
