SISTER Sledge are to perform at next month’s Lytham Festival.

The disco divas have announced a one-off headline show at the Lowther Pavilion on Thursday, July 19.

They performed on the main stage at the festival in 2016.

Festival director Peter Taylor said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Sister Sledge back. When they were last here they proved to be a massive hit and I have no doubt the audience at Lowther Pavilion are in for a very special treat.”

Expect all the hits including hits including Frankie, We Are Family, Lost in Music.

Collabro and The Mersey Beatles will also be performing at the Lowther Pavilion as part of the festival on Monday, July 16 and Tuesday, July 17 respectively.

The main arena on Lytham Green will see pop superstars Steps headline on Wednesday July 18. The following nights will see DJ Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics, award-winning musician George Ezra and singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé, legendary musician Nile Rodgers and Chic and the world’s most successful classical crossover group Il Divo performing live.
