A MUM has revealed how she and her son have set up a mindset business to help autistic children.

Heather Rose’s son Isaac Sharples, 10, has ADHD and is also on the autistic spectrum and has struggled with low self-esteem in the past.

He often come home from school saying he was ‘stupid or thick’ and that ‘no one likes him’, which Heather said ‘broke my heart’.

Knowing she had to change this, Heather implemented daily affirmations into Isaac’s life by reading to him how ‘Law of Attraction’ can work and doing the affirmations every morning before school.

The Law of Attraction is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts people can bring positive or negative experiences into their life.

An affirmation is anything a person says or thinks about themselves and all self-talk, both negative and positive, are affirmations.

She said it has really helped Isaac and has seen a ‘massive switch’ in his behaviour at school, at home, and with his confidence and look on life.

Heather, who lives in Blackburn, said: “Seeing Isaac suffer with low self esteem, low self love and worthy, often coming home saying he was stupid or thick and no one likes him broke my heart I knew I had to do something to change this.

“I started to implement daily affirmations into Isaacs daily life by reading to him how law of attraction can work and doing the affirmations every morning before school.

“Reading and shouting them out together.

“This really has helped Isaac and we saw a massive switch in his behaviour and at school, at home, his confidence and look on life.”

Heather then bought Isaac a children’s Law of attraction book which they read together everyday and he wanted to share this.

It has seen Isaac do a Facebook live on Heather’s profile which has reached over 5,000 views.

She said: “We had so many messages from other parents saying how their children were also struggling with the same sort of mindset and if we could also help them. It truly upsets me to see children suffer like this and we need to do something and help. “

Heather said this is when her idea for their business Mindset and Me was born, which Isaac wanted to be involved with and even came up with the logo for.

She said she discovered the law of attraction and how important mindset is when she first began her business, which increased her confidence and gave her the push she needed to help other autistic children.

Mindset and Me create affirmation and mindset products such as flash cards and other merchandise which will help all children and adults alike.

People can either read them all together or pick one card to concentrate on per day.

Heather said: “I am super proud of him and this business is as much his as it is mine. It’s time to make a difference in the world.

“Seeing the change in Isaac, in return this made home life so much more happier.

“To see your son smile and act upon the affirmations he was learning made my heart melt, a great sense of happiness that I was able to help him as his mummy. “
