A CHURCH will hold afternoon tea to celebrate the forthcoming marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle next month.
Bosses at Christ Church Chatburn have organised a royal vintage afternoon tea to mark the marriage of the British Prince and American actress at Windsor Castle on May 19.
There will be an exhibition of British Royal Weddings since the church opened almost 200 years ago including pictures, facts about the Kings and Queens of the past, vintage wedding dresses and artefacts.
The Royal event will include finger cut sandwiches, home-made cakes and proper tea all served on china and all for £7 including the exhibition.
The afternoon tea event will take place at the Sawley Road Church from 2pm to 4.30pm on Saturday, May 12.
