ALL the fun of the fair? Don’t you believe it!
Today’s photograph from the Lancashire Telegraph archives shows a scene at the traditional Easter fair in Blackburn back in 1965.
Torrential rain certainly dampened the spirits of the young boy trudging through the puddles with his donkey jacket over his head.
It certainly was the weather for head scarves and caps as the stallholders tried their best to entice visitor to the fair to spend some money.
The Easter funfair in Witton Park has become a tradition which continues to this day.
