The Pest from the West — the so-called successor of last week's Beast from the East — arrived yesterday in East Lancashire.
The Thursday morning rush hour blast of snow closed about 60 schools and caused miles of traffic jams on the M65.
The wintry weather may have disrupted many, but it also helped create some stunning photo opportunities.
