COUNTRY music superstar Kenny Rogers will headline the Saturday night at this summer's Livewire Festival in Blackpool.

The legendary singer will play his final UK concert at the Tower Headland on Saturday, August 25.

He has sold a staggering 120 million albums worldwide and has had chart success in all of the past seven decades including 24 number ones with songs such as The Gambler, Lucille and Coward of the County.

Special guest for the show will be Grammy Award-winning singer Linda Davis, one of Nashville's top vocalists.

Boyz II Men and Matt Goss have already been announced as headliners for the opening show of the four-day festival ON Thursday, August 23.
