MP Jake Berry met with Rossendale farmers and representatives from the National Famers Union
AN MP met with local farmers to discuss Brexit.
MP for Rossendale and Darwen Jake Berry said his meeting with local farmers and representatives of the National Famers Union was 'extremely useful'.
He said: "As the UK leaves the EU it gives our Farmers a huge opportunity to break free of some of the ridiculous restraints imposed upon them by Europe’s Common Agricultural Policy, often referred to as the CAP.
"It was extremely useful to discuss these opportunities and I will be sharing the feedback with the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Michael Gove."
