THIS car has been seized after it was caught driving at a high speed.
Police said the vehicle had been driving in an 'anti-social manner' around the Colne Road area over the past two nights.
Officers said the car had 'failed to stop for them and made off at high-speed on numerous occasions.'
But in the early hours of this morning, the vehicle was successfully 'stung' by officers and has since been removed from the road.
Burnley and Padiham Police said on Facebook that the driver had 'put themselves and other road users at risk'.
They said: "Over the past two nights, this vehicle has been seen driving in an anti social manner and has failed to stop for police, making off at high speed on numerous occasions.
"This ultimately puts themselves, but more importantly, other road users at risk.
"This has taken place mainly around the Colne Road area but also stretched further afield.
"In the early hours of this morning, the vehicle was successfully "stung" by #team5 officers and has since been removed from the road.
"Just one of the many things we do to keep our roads safe. #team5tacOps #T5RPU #taxifor3."
