TWO men have been arrested following a police chase.
Officers attempted to stop the black Audi A6 which had stolen from a property in Billington, Clitheroe on Wednesday.
A police spokesman said said became aware of the vehicle in the Whalley Road area of Clayton-Le-Moors at around 9pm yesterday.
Officers attended and gave chase after the vehicle failed to stop for police.
A Police spokesman said that, following a three minute pursuit, the Audi collided with another vehicle before hitting a lamppost on Gloucester avenue.
Two men ran out of the vehicle and were perused by a police dog unit, police managed to catch the men and they were both arrested the spokesman said.
He said: "It was a low risk pursuit.
"The vehicle was travelling at speeds of 40 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour zone.
"Both vehicles suffered minor damage in the collision but no one was injured."
