A 22-YEAR-OLD man who went to his sister’s house to resolve a dispute ended up damaging her front door when she wouldn’t let him in.

Blackburn magistrates heard the sister claimed Temoor Khan had used a hammer to attack the door but he had always denied that.

Khan, of Queens Park Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to a door belonging to Amrosia Khan. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £150 compensation and £30 victim surcharge.

Richard Prew, defending, said the argument between the siblings was over money.

“She wouldn’t let him in and he kicked the door with his heavy boots,” said Mr Prew. “He always denied having any kind of an implement and that is now accepted.”
