BURNLEY visit Manchester City on Saturday and here's all the stats you need to know ahead of the big game.

THE Clarets travel to the free-scoring league leaders looking to maintain their unbeaten away record which has seen them pick up wins at Chelsea and Everton as well as points from trips to Tottenham and Liverpool.

Burnley have not beaten City on their own turf in the league since 1963 when the Clarets won 5-2, a run of 14 games.

And the challenge does not get any easier this time around with City in fine form and two points clear at the top of the table.

But a win for the Clarets would extend their unbeaten start to five games and could see them in the top four come the close of play.

Burnley have won once at City since their last league success with a Colin Waldron header giving them a 1-0 success in the Charity Shield at Maine Road in 1973.

The last encounter between the two sides was in January when City prevailed 2-1 while in 2015 the Clarets rallied from two down to claim a point in a 2-2 draw.

City have the edge in the all time record with 42 wins to Burnley's 30 while 25 matches have been draws.
