POLICE were called to deal with a shoplifting incident in a Blackburn supermarket.
Eyewitnesses described seeing shoppers queuing outside Morrisons in Railway Road and police cars in the car park.
A police spokesman said they were called to store at about 9.50am to reports of a male shoplifting.
He said: "It was being dealt with by on-site security however he has not been compliant and the police were called."
