A MAN was hit by a bus in Blackburn town centre.
Officers said a 39-year-old man was hit by a slow moving bus as he tried to cross Railway Road.
As the man was knocked to the floor he sustained a cut to the back of his head, police said.
The incident, which saw a police van, bus, ambulance and rapid response car, stop in the middle of the road outside Crawshaw Butchers, happened at about 3.30pm.
A Police Community Support Officer helped direct the traffic around the incident.
The man was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital but his injuries were said to be minor.
Traffic flow is now back to normal.
