A COUNTY council has encouraged groups from the voluntary, community and faith sector to apply for a grant to support their work.
Lancashire County Council's Local Initiative Fund (LIF) 2017/18 has opened for applications, with more than £177,000 available in total across all 12 Lancashire districts.
The scheme provides grants to voluntary, community and faith sector groups that carry out important work to help communities across Lancashire.
Organisations looking to apply should visit lancashire.gov.uk and search for 'voluntary community and faith sector grants'
