POLICE are growing increasingly concerned after a teenager with links to Lancashire went missing from home.

Marcus Thomas, 15, who is originally from Wales, was last seen on Wednesday, June 14 in Lancashire Hill, Stockport.

The teenager, who is also known as Nicola Joe Thomas, may be in the Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cardiff or Caerphilly area.

He is described as 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with brown shoulder-length hair extensions, blue eyes and speaks with a Welsh accent.

He was last seen wearing white jeans, black canvas pumps, a Minnie Mouse t-shirt, a grey marl cardigan and carrying a black and pink bag.

Officers said he may also be wearing full face make-up and hoop earrings.

Detectives are now appealing for information from the public to find him.

Sergeant Jim Arkwright of Greater Manchester Police's Stockport Borough, said: “No-one has heard from Marcus for more than 48 hours now and our concerns are increasingly growing.

“We have reason to believe that he may have travelled to Wales but I’d ask people in Stockport and the surrounding areas to familiarise yourself with his photograph and get in touch with us if you see him.

“We need to make sure that Marcus is safe and well and we can only do that with the public’s help.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting reference MP/17/0107300 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
