LANCASHIRE Trading Standards has issued a warning after people reported receiving unsolicited beauty products in the post.
The organisation has said an invoice has arrived a few days later, originating from Europe, requesting payment for the products which include cleansers and moisturisers.
A spokesman said: “Please be aware that if you have not ordered the product, or agreed to a subscription offer, you can ask the company to arrange collection of the unordered goods at their expense.
“If they do not collect, you can treat the goods as a free gift.”
The warning has been backed by Pendle Council.
