WORK has started on the Lancashire Police memorial garden.

The project at its headquarters in Saunders Lane, Hutton, will be a lasting memorial to officers have have died in the line of duty.

The garden will feature a memorial wall, where individual plaques will be placed for each officer, and a fountain.
