DANGER: children have been seen running across the M65
THERE are reports of children running across the eastbound carriageway of the M65 this afternoon (Monday).
Police and highway chiefs are attending after receiving two reports about five children being seen running across all lanes between J8 (A56) and J9 (Burnley) just before 4pm.
A spokesman for the North West Motorway Police said: "Taking two reports of five children running across all the lanes at J8 - J9 M65 EB."
