A MAN has pleaded guilty to making bomb threats regarding a school.
Tonacliffe Primary in Whitworth was evacuated after a bomb threat was made on December 9.
Gary Barnes, 25, from Whitworth, pleaded guilty to making bomb threats and threatening calls at an appearance at Burnley Magistrates on Wednesday.

After the threat was made the school made the decision to evacuate the building and send pupils home.
More than 320 students and 45 staff members had to be evacuated as officers carried out a search of the school.
Another hoax bomb call from Barnes was made on December 13, however the school remained open after advice from the police.
The case was adjourned to Burnley Crown Court until Monday, May 15, because the magistrates’ sentencing powers were insufficient.
