CONSTRUCTION work on rail lines will affect services next month.

Since October 2015, work has been taking place which will see 300 metres of new track laid to link between Manchester’s main train stations for the first time.

The impact over the Easter period will be on the Blackburn to Manchester via Burnley service and the Blackburn to Manchester via Bolton services.

On Friday, April 14, Saturday April, 15, Monday, April, 17, Saturday April 22, and Monday, May 1, the Clitheroe to Manchester Victoria services will terminate and start at Salford Crescent.

Shuttle buses will run between Salford Crescent and Manchester Victoria station.

On Sunday, April 16, Sunday, April 23, and Sunday, April 30, the Clitheroe to Manchester Victoria service will terminate and start from Manchester Oxford Road.
