PEOPLE across Blackburn and Burnley are being invited to host a Cancer Research UK Coffee Morning and help raise money to fund life-saving research.
The charity is encouraging everyone to sign up for a free fundraising pack and host a coffee morning any time until the end of May.
The charities official coffee morning day will take place on Thursday, April 6, but people can host an event to fit in with their own schedules.
Alison Barbuti, Cancer Research UK spokeswoman for Lancashire, said: “We are encouraging everyone in Blackburn and Burnley to host a coffee morning and ask guests to donate in exchange for a drink, snack and chat.
“We all love a good brew in Lancashire and taking time out of the office or home for elevenses is a great way to catch up with friends and colleagues.
“Every donation made will help save lives by funding research."
