A MAN who was found dead at his home in Colne had overdosed on amphetamines, an inquest heard.
Matthew Ellison, 31, was found by police after his family grew concerned they had not seen him for five days.

The inquest in Blackburn heard Mr Ellison, of Peel Road, had suffered from a drug problem for some time.
A post mortem examination carried out by Dr Muammer Al-Mudhaffer showed Mr Ellison had taken amphetamines, morphine, alcohol and tranquilisers.
Dr Mudhaffer said: “The level of morphine was not expected to cause a risk, even in naive users.”
But the inquest heard there was 1.97mg of amphetamine detected per litre in his blood, well in range of a risk of death.
Sheela Ellison, Mr Ellison’s mother, said the pair had a good relationship.
Richard Taylor, East Lancashire’s coroner, said he saw nothing to suggest there was any evidence of suicide.
He said: “I hear simply this was a drugs-related death.
“I repeat my sincere condolences to the family.”
