'It looked badly damaged' - delays on A56 after car crashes into barrier
TRAFFIC was delayed this morning after a car crashed into the central barrier on the A56 near Rising Bridge.
A police spokesman said at 8.30am, the car had hit the reservation, spun round and blocked part of the road.

He said: "The traffic was delayed slightly and the female driver did not suffer any major injuries, but was rather shaken up."
An eyewitness said: "I saw a black car facing into the carriage way and there was a police car giving people warning at the Rising Bridge roundabout.
"The front of the car was in a bad way, it looked badly damaged."
