PROSECUTORS have given the go-ahead for a murder charge to be brought against a pub boss following the death of a Bacup man.
James Mulcahy, 26, died in hospital last December, 13 months after suffering stab wounds in Bacup town centre.

Jonathan Wrigley, of Todmorden Road, Bacup, was sentenced to 13 years and six months in prison in June 2015 after being found guilty of wounding.
Joanna Ingle, senior crown prosecutor for the North West Complex Casework Unit, said: “The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised Lancashire Police to charge Jonathan Wrigley in connection to the murder of James Mulcahy, who died on December 5, 2015.”
He will appear at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. October 20.”
