FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house in Haslingden after a fire broke out in the roof.
Fire engines from Haslingden and Rawtenstall attended the blaze at an end terrace property in Poplar Street at around 8pm last night.

On arrival, firefighters found a fire involving the roof space of the house.
Crews used equipment including a ladder platform to put out the fire.
They also removed slates from the roof to tackle the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no one was reported to be injured.
