BOMB disposal experts were called to a village after a live anti-aircraft shell was found underneath a house.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians were called out to a house at The Dene, Hurst Green, at around 10.40am on Tuesday.

A temporary road closure was put in place whilst a controlled explosion was carried out in a nearby field.
Police said the shell had been under the house for ‘a significant amount of time’ and was unearthed whilst maintenance work was being done.
Nobody was injured.
A police spokesman said: “We received a call from a man at around 10.40am on June 28 to say there was a mortar shell underneath his address in Hurst Green.
"EOD have attended and carried out a controlled explosion in a nearby field. It was a live British aircraft mortar. A road closure was put in place at 4pm whilst the explosion was carried out but it was re-opened by 4.05pm.”
