A 45-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with a £100,000 gold and cash robbery in the town on Tuesday.
Jusbir Singh, of no fixed address, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court.

Shazad Dad, defending, said his client would be pleading guilty to the charge which resulted from an attack on two wholesale jewellers who were on business in Blackburn.
They were attacked on a garage forecourt by three men wielding iron bars.
The court heard the victims followed their assailants who transfered from a blue van into a Renault Scenic which eventually collided with two other vehicles at the junction between Roman Road and Blackamoor Road.
There was no application for bail for Singh who will appear at the Crown Court on August 1.
