Man in lucky escape after crashing car into lamppost in Blackburn
A MAN had a lucky escape after crashing his car into a lamppost in Blackburn this morning.
Police, paramedics, firefighters and highway engineers were called to the incident involving a Volkswagen Golf, in Yew Tree Drive at around 11am this morning.

Police said the driver of the Volkswagen swerved to avoid another vehicle. He is not thought to have been seriously injured.
