An attack on Junaid Jamshed at Benazir Bhutto International Airport has been condemned.
The former Pakistani singer was confronted at Islamabad airport before being attacked. He had to be led away.
The group are believed to be angry that the preacher had committed blasphemy a charge he has always strongly denied.
The video shows a group aggressively approach Jamshed and then charge at him. One later brazingly poses for a selfie proud of the actions. Jamshed makes only an effort to talk to the group.
The video was being shared on social media today.
Jamshed later took Twitter to condemn all forms of fanaticism.
Its about time v as a nation decide that v will not let these religious fanatics prevail amongst us . They will be exposed n brought to task
