DELAYS: Commuters on the M65 (PIC: Darren Wilson)
THERE were delays on the M65 this morning after a crash on the M61 near Chorley.
One lane was closed on the M61 northbound between junction 8 (Chorley) and junction 9 (Clayton Brook).
Traffic backed up onto the M65 causing major rush-hour delays.
Police on Twitter said: “Highways England are on scene dealing and trying to clear the carriageway & sort out recovery.”
