TWO people have been injured following a series of road collisions due to black ice.
The emergency services were called to Pilot Street in Accrington shortly before 9am after a 16-year-old man came off his moped.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics for a back injury.
An ambulance was also called to outside Haslingden Sports Centre in Helmshore Road after two cars were involved in a collision.
The ambulance service said that one person was being treated for an injury.
Lancashire Police said that both incidents were due to black ice and have called on drivers to be careful.
