A NEWLY-modernised Post Office branch is set to open in Darwen.
Customers will be able to access a range of services including international parcels and Special Delivery as well as being able to make cash withdrawals from a Post Office Card account, get insurance, buy holiday money and top up mobile phones at The Circus.

The service will be provided from five counter positions which will consist of two new style open-plan counters, two secure fortress positions and a combi-counter where the Post Office terminal will sit alongside the retail till.
Julie Kemp, Post office area manager, said: “We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are.
“We are confident that this vibrant Post Office will meet customers needs.”
The modernisation is part of the largest investment programme in Post Office history and will secure services for the future.
The Darwen Post Office will have to close at 5.30pm on Tuesday, September 8 until September 26 at 1pm.
The new branch will open from 8.30am-6pm from Monday to Saturday.
