IT'S unbelievable how Bolton Council can say charities are quite content with the market stall arrangement for their use.

And if Councillor Morris thinks things have settled down then he is totally ignorant of how most of the charities who used the canopy still feel about its demolition. As mentioned before, the market stall is not working out well and there is no comparison between the success of the canopy for many years and now the pitiful takings from the "new base" as the council calls it.

Some charities have ceased trading from the market because it is just not worth the time and effort to be there. No doubt the stonework from the canopy will be used for some other useless scheme the council keeps coming up with.
