RENOWNED Cumbrian wildfowler Tom Fell has retired from his official role after 50 years dedicated to the sport.
Mr Fell has stepped down as chairman of the Grange and District Wildfowler's Association and will take on an honorary role with the organisation.
Secretary Mark Jones said: "For over 50 years, Tom has worked tirelessly with our members and partner organisations to ensure that the association’s core values of conservation and safety on the marshes are upheld. As a direct result, we continue to enjoy access to our marshes and sands today.
"On behalf of the GDWA members, I would like thank Tom for his dedication and continuous service."
