DEDICATED rose growers from around the country descended on a South Lakes town for their annual national show.
Members of the British Isles Rose Society proudly displayed a host of colourful blooms at the Cross Keys in Milnthorpe on Saturday.
Tony Bracegirdle, from Ramsbottom near Bury, was declared Master Exhibitor Champion.
Local success was represented by Ulverston growers Fred and Mary Barnes, who lifted the Miniature Rose Champions trophy.
