A TEENAGER from East Lancashire is set to stand trial in relation to the death of a father-of-two who died after being struck by a JCB.
Harry Shaw, 18, did not enter a plea to a charge of causing the death by dangerous driving of Craig Foster on Blackburn Road, Simonstone, between Time Technology Park and Seaway Services.

But a provisional trial date of August 17 for the expected five-day hearing was set by Judge Simon Newell when Shaw appeared in the dock at Burnley Crown Court.
Shaw, of Blackburn Road, Simonstone, who was represented in court by Anthony Cross QC, will next appear in court at Burnley for a plea and directions hearing on June 8.
Mr Foster, who was from Accrington and ran his own business in Hapton, lost his life while riding his Kawasaki ZX6R motorcycle from Padiham to Clayton-le-Moors in March 2014.
