A BURNLEY-based renewable energy company is celebrating after becoming an approved partner of global manufacturer LG.
Solarlec, which has offices in Caroline Court, Billington Road, was presented with the LG Installer Award 2014 following 12 months working as a preferred supplier of the manufacturer’s solar panels.
Ged Rowbottom, director at Solarlec, said: “LG produce fantastic products and we are honoured to work alongside them as a trusted partner.
“This is phenomenal news for our customers and one of the many reasons we specify LG products time and time again.”
Solarlec also have offices in Carlisle and Exeter, and have a number of other high- profile partners, such as Sharp, Panasonic and Sunpower.
Michael Harre, vice president of LG’s EU Solar Business Group, said: “We would like to warmly congratulate Solarlec for its extensive expertise, knowledge of the solar industry, excellent customer service and successful sale of LG products.”
Solarlec is one of just 200 LG solar PV Partners in Europe.
